lynda started her working career in the ANZ Bank, then travelled and worked in Europe. Once her family had started school lynda created NZ's first farm based rural employment agency and within three years the business had grown to 3 branches and at which point she sold the business and moved to Cambridge where she sold real estate for a number of years.

Her first retail venture was fashioned after a woolshed specialising in top quality local and New Zealand craft. A buyer presented her with an offer to sell she couldn't refuse and lynda then went on to import Dutch Colonial furniture from Indonesia.

While living in Europe lynda discovered her passion for computers and design and then went onto study Art & Design at Farnham in the South of England.

lynda returned to Cambridge where she now operates Beech Tree Cottage Bed & Breakfast, designs websites and creates online marketing for clients throughout New Zealand.
